Haryana assembly polls may be held along with Lok Sabha polls

Haryana Assembly polls may be held along with Lok Sabha polls. A high-level meeting of BJP’s core group will be held in New -Delhi tomorrow. Kalraj Mishra party’s in charge for Lok Sabha polls and Anil Jain party in charge of Haryana affairs will be present in the meeting. This meeting will be followed by another meeting at Rohtak.

Highly placed BJP sources told Tehelka that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party chief Amit Shah has given clearance for the simultaneous polls. Party is jubilant with Jind Assembly by poll results where lotus has bloomed first time in Haryana.

Hitherto, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal used to categorically deny the possibility of Haryana assembly polls with Lok Sabha polls but after victory at Jind, first time Manohar lal has changed his stand stating that High command will take a call on the issue. With Indian National Lok Dal divided into two factions and defeat of Randeep Surjewala in Jind by poll, coupled with fact that former Chief Minister, Bhupinder Hooda facing CBI probe in various land scams, BJP wants to en-cash the situation in its favour.
