Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday tested positive for COVID-19.
Informing about his health condition, Fadnavis in a tweet said, “I have been working every single day since the lockdown but now it seems that God wants me to stop for a while and take a break ! I have tested #COVID19 positive and in isolation. Taking all medication & treatment as per the advice of the doctors.”
“Those who have come in contact with me are advised to get covid19 tests done. Take care, everyone !” Fadnavis added.
India reported 53,370 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 650 deaths in the past 24 hours. India’s tally stands at 78,14,682, while the death toll rose to 1,17,956, according to Health Ministry data.
