Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday hit out at the Central government over the farmers’ protest against the three farm laws which was recently passed in parliament.
The former Congress President slammed the Modi-led Central government over its stand on dissenting voices in the country.
“For Modi Govt: Dissenting students are anti-nationals. Concerned citizens are urban naxals. Migrant labourers are Covid carriers. Rape victims are nobody. Protesting farmers are Khalistani. And Crony capitalists are best friends,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
Farmers’ protest against Centre’s three farm laws continued on Tuesday.
Leaders of farmer unions observed a day-long hunger strike at Delhi’s Singhu border on Monday. The hunger strike from 8 am to 5 pm was part of the farmers’ plan to intensify their agitation.
The farmers’ unions have been protesting since November 26, demanding an immediate withdrawal of the farm laws.
