Five persons died and three others suffered injuries after a fire broke out at a firecracker factory in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai on Friday.
According to reports, the fire was caused by a series of explosions that took place inside the factory in T Kallupatti area of Madurai.
Fire service units were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. Rescue operations are underway.
