More than 20 shanties were gutted in fire in southeast Delhi’s Okhla phase II area in Sanjay Colony in the early hours of Sunday.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
According to the sources, the fire broke out in a katran (wastage of cloth cutting) and later spread to the shanties following which over 20 shanties were gutted.
No causality has been reported so far in the incident.
