Eight killed, six injured in mass shooting at Russia’s Perm University

More than 8 people died and several injured on Monday in a shooting in the campus of University of Russia city of Perm, investigative Committee law enforcement agency said.

According to the sources, the unidentified person entered the university building and opened fire.

Some students, who were in the building, locked themselves in the auditorium building and many jumped out of the windows.

The killer was arrested shortly after the incident and later identified as the student of the University.

Visuals circulating on social media showed panicked students jumping out of university buildings to escape the shooter.
