The Enforcement Directorate on Friday conducted a search operation at former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh, who is facing allegations of corruption.
The raids took place at his residence in Nagpur.
Earlier, he resigned after former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh wrote a letter to CM Uddhav Thackeray to levelling allegations of corruption against him.
The Bombay High Court had directed the CBI to investigate the allegations made by former Mumbai police commissioner Parambir Singh.
In a letter addressed to the CM Thackeray, Parambir Singh had alleged that Deshmukh had directed dismissed police officer Sachin Vaze to collect Rs 100 crore every month, from bars and restaurants in Mumbai.
