Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday invited party leaders of both the houses for a meeting in Vidhan Sabha, to discuss the ongoing agitation over reservation by Marathas.
Minister Chandrakant Patil confirmed the news and said it is important to discuss the law and order situation in the state after Maratha’s demand over the reservation in the education sector and government jobs.
Previously, Fadnavis chaired a meeting with BJP ministers and party legislators from the Maratha community to discuss the ongoing Marathas demand over the reservation.
After the meeting, Fadnavis said, the government was taking appropriate measures and doing it best over reservation matter of Marathas.
