Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, who had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month, was shifted to AIIMS, Delhi, an official said on Monday.
Rawat was in home isolation since December 18 after testing COVID-19 positive and was admitted to the Government Doon Medical College in Dehradun after developing fever on Sunday evening.
According to the reports, Rawat was shifted to AIIMS from Doon Hospital after infection was detected in the BJP leader’s chest.
His wife and daughter had also tested positive, sources said.
