Congress party on Saturday took out a rally in support of actor Rhea Chakraborty in Kolkata.
The rally was organised on the instructions of West Bengal Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.
“Political conspiracy and vindictive behaviour against Rhea Chakraborty, the daughter of Bengal, will not be tolerated,” West Bengal Congress said in a tweet.
“The protest was taken up from the Provincial Congress office to the Wellington junction on the instructions of Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, President of the West Bengal Provincial Congress,” Congress added.
Rhea Chakraborty has been charged in an alleged drugs-related case linked to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
