China on Thursday dispatched 6,50,000 coronavirus medical kits to India to help fight the coronavirus pandemic, according to Indian Ambassador to Beijing Vikram Misri.
“#IndiaFightsCoronavirus A total of 650,000 kits, including Rapid Antibody Tests and RNA Extraction Kits have been despatched early today from Guangzhou Airport to #India,” Misri tweeted.
Misri had earlier said, “In the mid to long-term, both countries, as large repositories of scientific and technological manpower, have enormous scope to find avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation on the R&D aspects of dealing with COVID-19, including finding a vaccine.”
India has extended its lockdown till May 3 to fight the coronavirus. So far, the country has reported 12389 COVID-19 cases with 414 deaths.
