CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams to be held from July 1 to 15

The class 10 and 12 exams of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which were postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown, will be held from July 1 to 15, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced on Friday.

“The students have been impatiently waiting for the schedule for pending exams. It has been decided today that the exams will be conducted from July 1 to 15,” the HRD Minister said.

He further said, “the remaining class 10 exams would be held for North East Delhi students only.”

The HRD ministry has earlier announced the fresh dates for JEE main, JEE Advanced and NEET 2020.

JEE main will be held from July 18 to July 23. JEE Advanced exam would be conducted in the month of August and NEET UG exam to be held on July 26.

Universities and schools across the country were closed and exams postponed due to the nationwide lockdown imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.
