The Bombay High Court on Thursday adjourned actor Kangana Ranaut’s office demolition matter till September 22 after the actor’s lawyer sought time to respond to the affidavit filed by BMC.
The Bombay High Court on Wednesday stayed the demolition drive of BMC at the Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai property after Kangana’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui filed a petition in the High court against the BMC. The high court also asked the BMC to file a reply in this matter and said, “The manner in which BMC proceeded to commence demolition work prima facie does not appear to be bonafide and smacks of malafide.”
BMC officials on Wednesday demolished various structures which they termed as ‘illegal alterations’ at Ranaut’s Mumbai property, whereas Kangana said that there is no illegal construction, also the high court has banned any demolitions till September 30.
