Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah, who was diagnosed with swine flu and admitted to AIIMS hospital on Wednesday, has been discharged, Rajya Sabha member Anil Baluni said on Sunday.
Anil Baluni tweeted, “For all of us, it is a matter of joy that Amit Shah ji today is fully healthy and has been discharged from AIIMS. Compliments of all well-wishers and activist brothers.”
BJP leader and in-charge of the party’s IT cell Amit Malviya said, “BJP President Shri Amit Shah has been discharged from AIIMS. He is fine and back home now. Thanks for all your wishes and messages.”
Shah was admitted to AIIMS following complaints of chest congestion and breathing issue.
He had earlier informed people about his illness in a tweet that he was diagnosed with swine flu.
