Atleast 10 killed in Jalalabad suicide bombing

At least 10 people were reportedly killed and four others wounded in a suicide attack in Afghanistan’s city of Jalalabad on July 10.

Eight of the 10 killed were civilians, according to a Kabul-based news website.

The attack took place at around 10 am (local time), a spokesman for the provincial governor, Attaullah Khoghyani confirmed, said the website.

Several shops and vehicles were also destroyed in the fire that followed the blast.

The recent attack came nearly ten days after 19 people were killed in another suicide bombing in which the Sikh community was mainly targeted.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, so far.
