An Indian Army helicopter with the Northern Army commander and other officers on board force-landed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch on Thursday afternoon, officials said.
However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
According to the reports, the helicopter believed to have developed a technical snag.
Northern Army commander Lt Gen Ranbir Singh was part of the seven-member crew, including two pilots, sources said.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
