Air India’s operations have been affected since early Saturday after the airline’s server suffered a global shutdown.
According to the officials, the airline’s SITA server was down since 3.30 am, delaying flights across the world.
The server shutdown has left several passengers stranded at airports.
“Due to a breakdown in our server system, some of our flights are getting affected all over the world. Work is on in full swing to restore the system. We sincerely regret inconvenience caused to passengers,” Air India tweeted.
As per the Air India spokesperson, technical teams were working to resolve the issue and the server would be recovered soon.
