On Tuesday, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) issued revised guidelines over the Covid-19 situation in the city.
In new guidelines all private offices in the national capital shall follow the practice of work-from-home, except offices considered essential services will be exempted.
Meanwhile, the private offices which were till now operating with 50 percent workforce have been asked to follow the practice of work from home.
Delhi shut restaurants and bars on Monday but takeaways and home delivery would be allowed.
Last Sunday, Delhi’s chief minister Arvind Kejriwal recovered from the virus. In recent days as many as 19, 165 more people tested positive.
Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Anil Baijal tweeted, “After detailed discussion with experts it was advised to adhere to the strategy of Test, Track & Treat with emphasis on enforcement of Covid Appropriate Behavior to contain the spread of infection”.
