India has reported 74,442 new cases of coronavirus and 903 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 66,23,816, while the death toll rose to 1,02,685, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 55,86,704 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 9,34,427 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 84.34%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 7.99 crore samples have been tested up to October 4 of which 9,89,860 samples were tested yesterday.
