India has reported 94,372 new cases of coronavirus and 1,114 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 47,54,356, while the death toll rose to 78,586, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 37,02,595 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 9,73,175 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 77.88%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 5.62 crore samples have been tested up to September 12 of which 10,71,702 samples were tested yesterday.
