India has reported 86,052 new cases of coronavirus and 1,141 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 58,18,570, while the death toll rose to 92,290, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 47,56,164 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 9,70,116 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 81.74%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 6.89 crore samples have been tested up to September 24 of which 14,92,409 samples were tested yesterday.
