India has reported 75,760 fresh cases of coronavirus and 1,023 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 33,10,234 lakh, while the death toll rose to 60,472, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 25,23,771 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 7,25,991 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 76.24%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 3.85 crore samples have been tested up to August 26 of which 9,24,998 samples were tested yesterday.
