With 29,398 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 414 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s tally stands at 97,96,769, while the death toll rose to 1,42,186, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 92,90,834 have been cured/discharged. There are 3,63,749 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 94.84%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 15.16 crore samples have been tested up to December 10 of which 8,72,497 samples were tested yesterday.
