Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally of farmers at Midnapore town in West Bengal on Monday, about the centre’s recent decision to increase the MSP of Kharif crops.
The rally at Midnapore by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come just few days after BJP National President Amit Shah’s meeting in Purulia district on June 29.
According to West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh, “The prime minister’s rally in Midnapore verifies that Bengal is one of our top priority states in the Lok Sabha poll.”
“We want to felicitate Prime Minister Modiji for his decision to increase the MSP,” he said.
BJP has emerged as a strong party in West Bengal, especially after the recent panchayat elections and bypolls in the state, the saffron party is making all efforts to increase its tally in the next general election from the current two.
