NCP leader Sharad Pawar on Saturday held a joint press conference with Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray amidst the upsurge of power in Maharashtra.
Sahard Pawar said that the MLAs accompanying Ajit Pawar were with him.
“We will make the government; the number is with us. Fadnavis could not prove a majority,” Sharad Pawar added.
Pawar further said Ajit Pawar’s decision was an act of indiscipline and adding to it he said the Devendra Fadnavis government would not be able to win a floor test in the assembly.
No NCP worker was in favour of the NCP-BJP government, he added.
Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray said that democracy is being mocked. They will not be able to prove majority in the House.
On Saturday morning, Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Maharashtra Chief Minister along with Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar as the deputy chief minister.
