Polling for the third phase of District Development Council (DDC) elections in Jammu and Kashmir was held on Friday.
The third phase of DDC polls recorded overall voter percentage of 50.53%.
The polling for 33 DDC seats — 16 in Kashmir and 17 in Jammu division — began at 7 am.
There are a total of 305 candidates in the electoral fray including 166 from Kashmir and 139 from Jammu division for DDC elections in phase 3, sources said.
Polling was also held for vacant panch and sarpanch constituencies as well.
