Srinagar: A video clip of a young woman being shot dead at point blank range has surfaced on social media in Kashmir.
The deceased has been identified as Ishrat Muneer Bhat of Dangerpora Pulwama. The woman is said to have been abducted and later shot dead at Cherbagh area of Draggad Shopian.
In the video the woman can be seen pleading for mercy with folded hands but a man shoots her twice from point blank range.
Police has taken cognizance of the crime.
“Late evening yesterday a gruesome terror crime video has surfaced in several social media platforms. Police is ascertaining the detalis,” J&K police statement said.
