Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu tested negative for Covid-19 on Monday. He had been under home-quarantine after being diagnosed with the virus on September 29.
“As per today’s RT-PCR test conducted by a medical team from AIIMS, both the Vice-President and his wife Usha Naidu have tested negative for COVID-19,” Vice President Secretariat said in a statement.
The Vice President is in good health and is expected to resume normal activities soon as per doctor’s advice. He thanked all those who prayed for his well-being, the statement said.
