‘Upto 200 units of electricity free for tenants’, announces Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced that tenants in national capital can avail up to 200 units of free electricity under ‘Mukhyamantri Kirayedaar Bijli Meter Yojna’

Government has come up with a scheme for tenants ‘Mukhyamantri Kirayedaar Bijli Meter Yojna’ under which tenants can install prepaid meters which will be used for domestic purposes, Kejriwal added.

AAP in a tweet said, “GOOD NEWS FOR ALL TENANTS LIVING IN DELHI You can now avail the benefits of Delhi Government’s Electricity Subsidy under Mukhyamantri Kiraydaar Bilji Meter Yojana.”

On August 1, Kejriwal announced that electricity usage up to 200 units will be free in Delhi. The power consumed between 201-400 units will be at half price as the Delhi government will provide 50 per cent subsidy, he added.
