Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday flagged off India’s first ‘private’ semi-high-speed train, Tejas Express between Lucknow and Delhi.
The Tejas Express will be the first train of Indian Railways that will run by Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).
The train is a swanky new luxury offering for travellers.
The train will run six days in a week and meals will be served by onboard service staff.
Tea and coffee vending machines will also be available in the train
The commercial run will start from Saturday.
