Union home minister Amit Shah held a roadshow in Hyderabad’s Secunderabad on Sunday to campaign for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections.
“Thank you Secunderabad for the immense affection in today’s roadshow. This massive support reflects Telangana’s strong faith in PM @narendramodi and the BJP,” Shah tweeted.
The Home Minister was given a warm welcome by BJP leaders on his arrival at the airport.
“Reached Hyderabad! Grateful to the people of Telangana for this warmth and support,” Shah said.
Shah visited the Bhagyalakshmi Temple in Hyderabad to offer prayers before holding a roadshow in Secunderabad.
“Took blessings at Maa Bhagyalakshmi temple in Hyderabad and prayed for the prosperity of the people of Telangana. May Maa Lakshmi bless the entire nation with good health and happiness,” Shah tweeted.
Voting will be held in 150 wards in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls on December 1.
