The Union Budget session of the Parliament is starts today. According to the schedule released by the Lok Sabha secretariat, the session will start with the President Ram Nath Kovind’s address to both the Houses.
The President’s address will take place in the Central Hall at 11 am onwards. After the President’s Address, the Lok Sabha will sit for the transaction of business.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will table the Economic Survey 2021-22 on Monday than the Union Budget on Tuesday. The Budget will be held from January 31 to 11 February 2022.
During the first two days of the Budget Session there will be no Zero Hour and Question Hour in both Houses of the Parliament.
However, The Budget session of Parliament is expected to start on a stormy note as the opposition is all set to corner the Narendra Modi government over the Pegasus spyware.
