Three terrorists were killed on Wednesday when an encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian.
According to the information, security forces carried out the operation in Sugan area of Shopian following a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in the locality.
Kashmir Zone police in a tweet said, “#SuganShopianEncounterUpdate: 01 more unidentified #terrorist killed (total 03). Search going on. Further details shall follow.”
Earlier the Kashmir Zone police had tweeted, “#SuganShopianEncounterUpdate: 02 unidentified #terrorists killed. #Operation going on. Further details shall follow.”
Chinar Corps, Indian Army in a tweet said, “Op Sugan, Shopian. One more terrorist killed (Total three terrorists eliminated). One more Pistol recovered (Total One AK and two Pistols recovered). Joint Operation over.”
Earlier Chinar Corps said, “#SuganShopianEncounterUpdate: 02 unidentified #terrorists killed. #Operation going on. Further details shall follow.”
