At least 30 passengers were injured on Tuesday after the bus carrying them fell into a gorge on Gandachara Amarpur road at Dhalai district in Tripura.
All passengers were rescued by the police and locals and were admitted to a hospital.
According to the reports, 22 passengers are said to be in a critical condition.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb along with senior officials, visited the trauma centre of the hospital where the injured were admitted.
He said that the state will bear all medical expenses who were injured in the accident.
