Three terrorists were killed and an Indian Army Soldier was martyred on Saturday when an encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama.
The encounter took place in Zadoora area. Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition were recovered from the site. The search is still going on.
Chinar Corps, Indian Army, in a tweet said, “Op Zadoora, #Pulwama. Update. Three terrorists eliminated. One AK and two Pistols recovered. One soldier was critically injured and succumbed to his injuries.”
Kashmir zone police in a tweet said, “#PulwamaEncounterUpdate: 03 #unidentified #terrorists killed. #Incriminating materials including #arms & ammunition which. Search going on. Further details shall follow.”
Earlier Kashmir zone police tweeted, “#Encounter has started at #Zadoora area of #Pulwama. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.”
On Friday security forces killed 4 terrorists in an encounter in Shopian.
