Three terrorists were killed on Tuesday in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian.
Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said, “So far three unidentified #terrorists killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow.”
The army spokesperson said two AK-47 and one INSAS rifle have been recovered from the site of encounter.
According to officials, the operation was launched by a joint team of police, Army’s 44RR and CRPF in Turkwangam area after receiving specific information about the presence of terrorists there.
