Three suspected cases of Coronavirus reported, patients kept under observation at Delhi’s RML Hospital

Three people, suspected of being affected by noval coronavirus, have been kept under observation at an isolation ward of Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital in Delhi, sources said on Tuesday.

The three suspected cases of new coronavirus have been reported at the hospital. The patients have been kept in isolation, said Dr Minakshi Bhardwaj, Medical Superintendent of RML Hospital.

She further said suspected people’s samples have been sent for testing.

On January 25, Union Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan held a high-level review meeting with senior officers of the Health Ministry, ICMR and NCDC to analyse the current situation, preparedness and steps being taken for prevention and management of Novel Coronavirus (nCoV) in India.

He had stated that no nCoV case has been detected in the country so far.

Meanwhile, the death toll due to the coronavirus in china has risen to 106 and over 1300 new cases have surfaced.
