A trainer plane on Wednesday crashed in Shankarpally, around 40 kilometres from Hyderabad.
The aircraft crashed in the fields near Mokila village of Shankarapally mandal in Telangana’s Ranga Reddy district.
According to the reports, the pilot trainee of the aircraft is said to be safe and shifted to the hospital.
The aircraft belonged to the Rajeev Gandhi Aviation Academy, Begumpet. The trainee was identified as Bharat Bhushan and he ejected when he sensed trouble with the plane.
Police said, the left wing of the aircraft suffered heavy damage and came apart.
A team of officials from the academy reached the spot.
Further probe will reveal the cause of the accident.
