A group of six armed men on Tuesday looted around Rs. 35 lakh from Punjab National Bank branch in Dumka town of Jharkhand, police said.
According to the reports, the six masked men reached the bank and looted around Rs 35 lakh. The miscreants put the cash in one bag and later fled on their bikes with looted money.
The police is also verifying the CCTV footage of the incident to probe the robbery.
Raids are being conducted to arrest the culprits, police added.
An investigation into the matter is underway.
