The Supreme Court on October 22 sought state-wise chart of video conferencing facilities in observation homes and Juvenile Justice Boards (JJB) across the country.
The SC observed, “All the observation homes and JJB should have video conferencing facilities.”
The apex court has asked the Centre to provide information about the total number of observation homes and JJB having video conferencing facilities.
The court also directed all states to provide assistance and cooperate with the central government in the said exercise.
