The Supreme Court on Thursday asked 10 rebel Karnataka MLAs to appear before the Karnataka Assembly Speaker at 6 pm today and submit their resignations if they so wish.
The Speaker has been asked to take decision in the remaining part of the day. The court will hear the matter tomorrow.
The Apex Court also said that the security would be provided to the MLAs.
The top court was hearing the plea of ten rebel MLAs alleging that Karnataka speaker was deliberately not accepting their letters.
On Wednesday a group of rebel Congress-JD(S) MLAs approached the top Court alleging that Karnataka speaker had failed in his constitutional duty by not accepting their resignations.
