Malegaon blast accused and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur on Monday filed her nomination papers from Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency.
She is contesting against former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh.
On Saturday Digvijaya Singh had filed his nomination papers for the Bhopal Lok Sabha seat.
Thakur courted controversy over her remark against Ashok Chakra awardee late Hemant Karkare.
The polling in Bhopal will take place on May 12 and the counting of votes will be on May 23.
