Rhea Chakraborty summoned by CBI for questioning in Sushant Singh Rajput death case

Rhea Chakraborty on Friday reached the DRDO guest house in Mumbai, where she is being questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Rhea Chakraborty’s associate Samuel Miranda also arrived at the DRDO guest house. CBI also summoned Sushant’s friend Siddharth Pithani, Neeraj Singh, and Rhea’s brother Showik today.

CBI on Thursday questioned Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty for 14 hours. On Wednesday Sushant’s friend, Siddharth Pithani was grilled by the CBI for over 13 hours, whereas CBI questioned Neeraj Singh for nearly 7 hours.

Rhea’s father Indrajeet Chakraborty was also summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) yesterday. The ED is inquiring into alleged money laundering and fraud charges against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. Rhea and her brother Showik were also questioned by ED earlier in the case. 

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14. On August 19, the Supreme Court had asked the CBI to investigate the case while holding the FIR registered in Patna by Sushant’s family legitimate.
