This exemption applied to establishment such as swimming pools, auditoriums, amusement parks, video game parlours, and discotheques as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The licensing powers will now be with local bodies, including the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), and the Delhi Cantonment Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that union minister Amit Shah who handles the policing in the national capital, has said that police force should be relieved from non-core duties so that their energy and resources can be focused on law and order, security, and crime control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe want to make Delhi not only the political capital of India but also a model of good governance. That is the mission of our double-engine government,\u201d Gupta said.
