It serves as an airborne military command center capable of operating through nuclear war or national catastrophe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mission stood out because of its unexpected route and&nbsp; callsign, resulting in substantial buzz amid mounting tensions in the Middle East.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some dismissed it as a routine flight,&nbsp;saying that E-4Bs frequently fly to maintain readiness. However, in politics, moves are often made for the sake of optics and sending a message.
