Political parties have given mixed reactions to exit poll predictions that have come out after the polling ended on Wednesday evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exit polls have been conducted immediately after the voters cast their votes, predicting a strong win for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the national capital after 27 years. The prediction has given a shock to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which could end Arvind Kejriwal\u2019s tenure of 10 years in Delhi politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the exit polls, BJP has been predicted to win 43 seats while the AAP may get only 26 seats. The majority mark in the 70-member Delhi assembly in 36.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Polling agency Chanakya Strategies has predicted 39 to 44 seats for BJP, 25-28 seats for AAP and 2 or 3 seats for Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, WeePreside has come up with something different and given data that tells AAP will clinch 46 to 52 seats in Delhi while BJP gets between 18 and 23. It has given 1 seat to the Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peoples Pulse has predicted that AAP will get seats only between 10-19 while on the other hand BJP will get 51 to 60 seats leaving none for Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, political parties often react differently to exit poll results. The ruling party depending on how the poll results are presented may feel confident. They may interpret favorable exit poll results as a sign of electoral success, even if the final outcome does not align with predictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, opposition parties typically express skepticism or doubt about the accuracy of exit polls especially when the results do not match their expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has said that we welcome the results being shown by Exit Polls but has said that we will prove most of these exit polls wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sachdeva has said on 8th February our victory will be more spectacular than what exit polls have shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis election, voters of Delhi have chosen to shed off corruption & anarchism of Kejriwal\u2019s government from Delhi and have chosen to vote for BJP which stands for development,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, AAP national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said after the Delhi election exit poll results, \u201cExit polls have always proven to be wrong for the AAP. We have always formed the government with a clear majority and this time will be no different\u2026 There are some exit polls which show us winning but I would like to tell everyone to wait for 8 February, Arvind Kejriwal will be forming the government with a huge majority\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
