The organization was initially labeled an &#8216;Unlawful Association&#8217; on February 28, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amit Shah emphasized the government&#8217;s dedication to curbing activities that pose threats to the nation&#8217;s security, integrity, and sovereignty. He warned that stringent measures would be taken against anyone endangering the security of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The previous ban on &#8216;Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu Kashmir&#8217; was enforced through Gazette Notification Number S.O. 1069(E) on February 28, 2019. The recent decision to extend the ban was justified by the organization&#8217;s alleged involvement in promoting terrorism and anti-India propaganda, contributing to secessionism in Jammu and Kashmir.
