Its epicenter was located in the Doda region of Jammu and Kashmir, at a depth of 10 kilometers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortly after, at 5.43 AM, a second earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale occurred in the same Doda region, at a depth of eight kilometers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The region of Kashmir is known to be seismically active, making it highly vulnerable to earthquakes.
