She said that the imposition of the tax was part of the BJP\u2019s agenda of impoverishing the people of the Union Territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe real aim is to make people of Jammu and Kashmir so poor that they don\u2019t demand anything. Look at the rest of the country, 80 crore people are getting free ration. They don\u2019t ask for jobs or cheaper fuel,\u201d Mehbooba said in Srinagar today. \u201cThey just wait for the 5 kg grain so that they can feed their children. They want to bring Jammu and Kashmir also to the same level.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said that the BJP wants \u201cto bury people of J&amp;K.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey could not bring other States at par with J&amp;K, now they are trying to bring us at par with other States,\u201d Mehbooba said. The former Chief Minister said the BJP has been a &#8220;disaster&#8221; for Jammu and Kashmir.
