{"id":337274,"date":"2022-04-30T01:00:33","date_gmt":"2022-04-30T06:30:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tehelka.com\/?p=337274"},"modified":"2022-04-30T05:53:33","modified_gmt":"2022-04-30T11:23:33","slug":"army-chief-says-arms-ammunition-from-afghanistan-seized-in-kashmir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tehelka.com\/army-chief-says-arms-ammunition-from-afghanistan-seized-in-kashmir\/","title":{"rendered":"Army Chief says arms, ammunition from Afghanistan seized in Kashmir"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Delhi: Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane has said that Kashmir had witnessed an increase in seizure of arms and ammunition from Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is definitely an increase in the number of weapons and other equipment, especially night-vision devices that we are capturing or unearthing, which definitely have come from Afghanistan,&#8221; General Naravane said in a video released on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When the previous Taliban regime was there in Afghanistan in the early 2000s, we did have a little spillover.
